Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using SteadyLink VPN, creating an account, or starting a VPN connection, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. Stop using and uninstall the app if you do not agree.

2. Service

SteadyLink VPN provides free account management, network connections, connection status, and traffic statistics. Availability, speed, and latency depend on network conditions, your device, your carrier, and service status.

3. iOS connection authorization

On iOS, starting a connection requests system VPN permission. After you approve it, iOS establishes the system VPN connection; no extra channel needs to be configured manually. You can stop the connection in the app or in iOS VPN Settings.

4. Accounts and free access

Provide accurate information and protect your credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account. The current service is free for all users. There are no paid plans, paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, renewal charges, or external purchase requirements. You do not need to buy access on a website, another app, or through customer support. Free access is not a trial that requires payment to continue. Reasonable device, capacity, and abuse-prevention limits may apply, but do not create a payment obligation. If we introduce paid features in the future, they will require an app update with clear pricing and updated terms. Any digital features or subscriptions sold in the iOS app will use Apple’s in-app purchase system as required. The current version will not automatically charge you or enroll you in a paid subscription.

5. Lawful use and prohibited conduct

Use SteadyLink VPN only in compliance with applicable law, carrier rules, Apple terms, and third-party terms. Do not use it for illegal activity, attacks, scanning, fraud, malware distribution, infringement of intellectual property or privacy, bypassing access controls, interfering with the service, or harming another network. We may restrict an account or connection when necessary to address security risks or legal requirements.

6. Network and security risks

Proxy connections do not guarantee anonymity, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility with every website or service. Connections can fail because of permissions, outages, service failures, carrier policies, or third-party changes. Check the connection status before important activity and do not rely on SteadyLink VPN as your only security, backup, or emergency communications method.

7. Third-party services

Infrastructure providers may support hosting and network connectivity on our behalf. Websites and other services you choose to access are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. SteadyLink VPN does not provide a third-party payment or subscription service in this version. Third-party failures, policy changes, and uncontrollable network events are outside SteadyLink VPN’s service guarantee.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

SteadyLink VPN’s client, interface, trademarks, documentation, and related content belong to SteadyLink VPN or their respective rights holders. Open-source components are governed by their applicable licenses. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted by those licenses, including rights to use, copy, modify, or redistribute covered software. For proprietary materials, do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, sell, or redistribute them except as permitted by applicable law, license, or written authorization. Suggestions you submit may be used to improve the service; this does not transfer your pre-existing rights in the feedback.

9. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update, suspend, or end parts of the service for maintenance, security, legal, supplier, or product reasons and will provide notice where reasonable. You may stop the VPN, sign out, close your account, and uninstall at any time. Termination does not affect responsibilities or dispute provisions that legally continue to apply.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SteadyLink VPN is not liable for indirect loss, data loss, business interruption, third-party services, or uncontrollable network events. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Updates and contact

We may update these Terms when features, law, or security requirements change and will show a new effective date in the app. Submit questions and agreement requests through the official website or support entry in the app.
